Cattails Golf Club

The golf course surrounding Cattail Estates Subdivision was originally the Elwood Country Club, but is now called Cattails Golf Club and is open to the public. 

The original 9 holes were designed in 1923 by Bill Diddel.  It features Kentucky bluegrass tees and fairways, and bent grass greens.

An additional 9 holes were added in 2006 and designed by Ron Kern, who also designed the award winning Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, IN.  The back nine holes feature a links style design with each hole more challenging than the next.  Challenges include a varied topography where mutiple creeks and dense woodland areas come in to play.

The Cattails Golf Club offers a host of social activities including Saturday morning mens club, ladies league, junior programs, and Friday night couples with dinner at the Beyond The Greens Restaurant afterward.

The 10,000 sq. ft. Cattails Golf Club facility includes a pro shop, Beyond The Greens Restaurant, dining room, lounge, and private banquet room.  For more information, you can visit their website at - www.CattailsElwood.com
